Thank you for stopping by my blog. Lately I have been reviewing books and haven't had as much time to scrap. Hopefully soon I'll get back to scrapping and creating some new files. Thank you for your patience.

I have made files available at absolutely no charge. I do this for fun. I am learning the wonderful Make The Cut (MTC) program and trying to improve my skills. Most of the files have been created from free coloring sheets online. You will need MTC software in order to cut these files. Please use these files for your personal use only and if you want to share them with others please direct others to my blog. I hope you enjoy these files. Comments are always appreciated. If you are not a follower please consider doing so. I have lots of new files that I want to add over the next few months.

PLEASE DO NOT USE MY FILES AS YOUR OWN AND DO NOT POST THEM ELSEWHERE. IF YOU WANT TO SHARE MY WORK WITH OTHERS PLEASE DIRECT THEM TO MY BLOG. THANK YOU

Book Review - Nick of Time

This is the first Tim Downs book that I have read. I really enjoyed this book. If you like crime mysteries this is a book that you shouldn't miss. The story is about Dr. Nick Polchak, entomologist, he is getting ready to embark on a new chapter in his life. He is engaged to be married in just a few days to Alena when he is contacted by an old friend who wants him to come to a Vidocq meeting in a different state just days before his marriage. Alena feels like he is running from there impending marriage.

Dr Nick Polchak is a strange character who can relate better with bugs than with people. He is head strong and oblivious of the feelings of others. He can be irritating and obnoxious and he lets his work absorb him and will not stop until he finishes what he starts. Will it cost him his girlfriend and soon to be wife?

Alena is also a loner who doesn't like to be around people. She would much rather spend her time with her trained dogs. The town of Endor considers her to be a witch because she is so different. She communicates with her dogs like no one else. The dogs are perfectly trained for all kinds of work. Nick and Alena seem to be perfect for each other. But she is fed up with Nick's antics.

The book held my attention and I enjoyed the twists and turns of the plot. Although some of it isn't realistic it was entertaining. I liked the surprises of the twist I didn't see it coming. There were parts that were a little unblievable but all in all the story worked together. I thought it interesting that there was a slight reference to her being a witch living in Endor (the witch of Endor) but it really didn't have anything to do with the plot. This is an easy read and I will read more of Tim Downs work. I would recommend this book to others.

I downloaded Tim Downs' book Nick of Time. A book from his Bug Man series. I received the download for free for an honest review from Booksneeze.com, publisher Thomas Nelson.
