31 Days of Power
31 Days of Power: Learning to Live in Spiritual Victory by Ruth Myers and Warren Myers is a wonderful daily devotional. There is 31 days of prayers/praise verses each including scripture to back them up. I see myself referring back to these prayers regularly.
The book reminds me of the spiritual warfare that goes on around me daily. It reminded me who is actually in control. I sometimes find myself falling into a rut and feeling down. I know that it is the enemy. 31 Days of Power gives me the prayers I need for obtaining the spiritual victory that Christ has so freely given me. It also reminds me to pray for others.
The 1st part of this book is the 31 prayers meant to be a daily devotional. Part 2 of this book describes the dynamics of spiritual warfare. In Part 2 the author spells out how spiritual warfare is happening around us all of the time and also how Christ is always victorious and in control. Satan has always tried to exert his power but God is in total control and Satan has no power but what is allowed by God. God is victorious and always will be.
I would recommend this book to everyone. It is very enlightening and will help you to understand the warfare going on in our world and our lives. I read this book in one evening. I look forward to going back and doing the devotionals day by day and really reflecting on the words written and studying the scripture more in depth.
I received this book for free from waterbrookmultnomah.com for an honest review.
Please rank my review so that I may be eligble to receive more books. Thank you.
